A dad by any other name

A recent name-calling issue tickled some, embarrassed others and riled many who think they have it copyrighted. We are embarrassed because it was made a national issue. Then it became internationally known and our standing took a big knock.

A fellow blogger puts it in such a simple analogy here.

A dad by any other name
loves you just the same
unless you get it wrong in your head
and think you own his name instead

  1. Thank you friend for putting a link to my blog. My father said that in all his years, no kid had ever mistaken my Abah as his Abah so he is laughing at all the brouhaha.

  2. Hahaha...
I guess it's a case of jealousy. Like certain people won't take it kindly if some other people start to address his papa as Papa. It also means there may be an additional stake holder for the family inheritance...
