After we've seen how fast bean sprouts get off and go, this is like watching a slug taking off after hearing the starter's gun. Yeah, not exactly reaching eagerly for the sky.
Mother Nature must be having a nap over this one.

This reminds me of my first chili padi plant. I put the seeds in a pot with the best black earth I could find and it took precisely 83 days to grow to a height of 1 inch. It took another month to gain another 0.5 inches before it died. That's almost half a year to reach a height of 1 1/4 inches.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking perhaps, this being a ciku tree of maybe, 15 ft height when it's full grown, it should take a little longer to germinate and get to this. So I'll just wait and watch it grow... Simple but beautiful...
